When it comes to choosing the correct rug size for your bedroom, there are two different approaches. However, both approaches place the rug around the bed which not only adds to the look of the entire room but also compliments it by making it feel cozy and spacious.
Option 1 – Rug Size 5 x 8
If you consider getting a 5 x 8 rug size, the rug should be placed near the end of the bed, with the length of the rug being placed parallel to the headboard.

Option 2 - Rug Size 9 x 12
Rug size 9 x 12 is a pretty big size for a rug in your bedroom. However, if placed right, it can add to the entire look of your bedroom.

Living Room/ Lounge
Choosing a rug for your living room or lunge usually comes down to three choices, but that depends on the different rug sizes. So, to help you enhance the look of your living room, let's get on with it.
Option 1 – 5 x 10
If you plan on getting a 5 x 8 rug size, the best way to place the rug is underneath your coffee table with the rest of the furniture including your sofa or couch, be placed off the rug on to the sides. See the image for more details.
Option 2 – 8 x 10
An 8 x 10 rug size allows you more freedom due to its larger size. However, the best way to place it is by placing some of the larger pieces of furniture like the couch and the coffee table on the rug, with the remaining sofas off of the rug, onto the sides. Check the image for more details.
Option 3 – 9 x 12
A 9 x 12 rug is a pretty big rug that comes with a relatively large price tag. However, this comes with its own set of advantages which include versatility and ease of placement. That said since the dining room is the centrepiece of your home when it comes to planning dinners parties, choosing the right rug size or style is essential to lighten up the room.

Option 1 - Round Rug
If you have a round dining table, you should be looking for rugs that come in a round shape. Furthermore, the size of the round rug should depend on how big your take is – the table and the chairs should fit comfortably inside the rug. Check the image for more details.
